Speaking to France 24, Galit Dan-Jaoui, a kibbutz resident whose 80-year-old mother and 12-year-old daughter were kidnapped in a Hamas raid, made a plea for those holding her relatives to release them unharmed. “And if there are women in Gaza who are seeing me now: take care of my daughter. Help us. She needs help,” she said. The family are all dual French-Israeli citizens and Dan-Jaoui also called on the French government to help rescue them.
