The Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine, the largest of its kind in Europe, was on fire early Friday after a Russian attack, local officials said. The attack came as Russian troops stepped up bombardments of multiple cities, including Chernihiv in the country’s north, where officials said 33 civilians were killed.
