The Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine, the largest of its kind in Europe, was on fire early Friday after a Russian attack, local officials said. The attack came as Russian troops stepped up bombardments of multiple cities, including Chernihiv in the country’s north, where officials said 33 civilians were killed. Russia and Ukraine have agreed on the need to set up humanitarian corridors to evacuate civilians. Follow our live blog for the latest developments.
