The summer of celebrations promoted by the Trump Administration to mark America’s 250th birthday is set to “kick off” next week with a rally headlined by President Donald Trump.
“Wednesday, June 24th, will be the ‘kick off’ of our summer long Celebration of 250 Years of American Independence!” Trump said in a Truth Social post on Monday. “We are going to have fun, and celebrate America!”
The rally is one of a number of events that the Administration has unveiled to honor the 250th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. The President also said on Monday that another rally—“the most spectacular TRUMP RALLY of them all”—would be held in D.C. on July 4th itself.
