Supersave Household, located at 185 Cricklewood Broadway, Cricklewood, was investigated by Brent Trading Standards officers.
Officers sent two underage teenage volunteers into the premises to try and buy a knife in August 2022.
The volunteers were able to purchase a 23cm knife without the cashier asking for any ID to prove their age, according to Brent Council.
At the subsequent court hearing, Supersave Household pleaded guilty to selling a knife to a person under the age of 18.
The magistrates stated that this was a serious crime but took the guilty plea into consideration. The company was ordered to pay a total of £3,175.99 for the offence.

It has to fork out £1,500 for the incident, as well as being forced to pay the council’s legal costs of £1075.99 and a victim surcharge of £600.
Cllr Harbi Farah, cabinet member for safer communities and public protection, said: “This is a huge win for our amazing Trading Standards team, but mainly for the general public.”
He added: “It is so important that laws like these are upheld as they not only keep knives off the streets, but also make sure that all residents can feel safe on our streets. I would like to thank our fantastic frontline Trading Standards officers for their work on this.”
