The post comes after Brand shared he had received “two extremely disturbing letters, a letter and an email, one from a mainstream media TV company, one from a newspaper, listing a litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks.”
Whilst the comedian did not share what the allegations made against him were, he did share that allegedly one is against “stuff like community festival should be stopped”.
Brand added that the alleged allegations were made at a time he was working in the mainstream media and he was “very promiscuous”.
The comedian also shared that the relationships he had were “absolutely always consensual. I was always transparent about that then. Almost too transparent, and I’m being transparent about it now as well.”

Speaking in the video, Brand said: “Now, this isn’t the usual type of video we make on this channel where we critique, attack and undermine the news in all its corruption because in this story, I am the news. I’ve received two extremely disturbing letters or a letter and an email.
“One from a mainstream media TV company, one from a newspaper listing a litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks, as well as some pretty stupid stuff like community festival should be stopped, that I shouldn’t be able to attack mainstream media narratives on this channel.
“But amidst this litany of astonishing rather baroque attacks, often very serious allegations that I absolutely refute. These allegations pertain to the time when I was working in the mainstream, when I was in the newspapers all the time, when I was in the movies. And as I’ve written about extensively in my books, I was very, very promiscuous.
