But for the capital, celebrations and strike action on the London Underground means there is likely to be travel disruption across the region.
However, Transport for London has said that all their public transport will be running as normal with no planned closures expected.
But celebrations are set to be very popular so roads and transport are expected to be a lot busier than normal over the weekend, meaning that there could be some short-term safety measures in place.

How to travel around London during the Platinum Jubilee:
London Underground:
Tube and rail services are expected to be running as normal over the Bank Hoilday weekend,
The busiest times will be on Saturday Night after the BBC concert and other events, as well as Sunday daytime.
If you are travelling to Bond Street, King’s Cross St Pancras and Green Park you can expect them to be much busier than normal.
Although there is strike action taking place at both Euston and Green Park stations, they will still be open.
Buses:
All buses are set to run to their normal schedules, however, there will be some bus routes in central London that will be diverted or shortened due to road closures.
Cycling:
For all you avid cyclists you will need to be extra cautious when travelling through London, due to the more than normal busy roads.
But there are a number of security measures at events so at points you may not be able to bring a cycle in with you if attending the event.
There are also some roads and cycleway’s on Constitution Hill alongside Green Park is temporarily closed until after the Jubilee celebrations in mid-June.
