Pedestrians “narrowly avoided disaster” when brickwork fell onto a shopping parade.
A cordon was in place after the roof collapse in Nether Street, West Finchley, on Monday (December 19).

The London Fire Brigade says that firefighters were called at 9.06am and helped enforce a 25-metre cordon that was in place as precaution.
A spokesperson said: “There were no reports of any injuries.”
Police attended the scene to ensure safety, but the Met has not provided any further information of the operation.
According to the fire brigade, the incident was over by 10.09am.
Martin Blain, a resident who witnessed the wreckage, said: “I walk this way every day – it’s a miracle no one was hurt.”
He added: “People need to check the integrity of their buildings.”
