Two Palestinian women told FRANCE 24 of detainees being beaten and sexually abused in Israeli prisons since the Hamas-led October 7 attacks. Rokaya Amr, who was held for 35 days without charge, said that prisoners were “stripped naked” and that prison staff “beat some of the girls” and “subjected others to sexual harassment”.
