A forensics tent has been erected at a cordon in Masefield Avenue in Stanmore, near to Bentley Priory, after a fatal stabbing today (September 4).

Emergency services were first spotted at the scene shortly after 4.50pm and a man, whose age has not been disclosed at this time, was found with a stab injury to the chest.

Despite the efforts of officers and paramedics, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Images show police have swarmed the road, with several police cars and forensics vehicles parked near the cordon.
Ambulances can also be seen in the area.

While the Metropolitan Police have not been able to share the age of the victim at this time, sources have told the Harrow Times it’s believed the man was a young adult.
Raffi Berg, a journalist who lives in the area, said there was a “a large crowd” gathering around the scene and wondering what is happening.
He continued: “Some bystanders were visibly shocked. You could see a small blue tent at the spot where the attack happened but the road and the next road along had been cordoned off.
“I haven’t seen anything like it round here before, this is a safe neighbourhood, so the sight of police and forensics all over the place was quite alarming.”
