
FIRST ON FOX: Critical blue collar manufacturing jobs in the U.S.
are making inroads after years of Biden-era offshoring hollowed out the workforce, according to a new economic report.
A Council of Economic Advisors (CEA) report says 72,000 manufacturing jobs have been added in 2026 alone, many of them due to a rise in the manufacturing of durable goods like metal and transportation equipment.
The advisors say this is a reverse of a Biden-era trend that saw 200,000 manufacturing jobs disappear in the last two years of the former president's administration.
