The 33-year-old, whose real name is Courtney Freckleton, was stopped by police on November 15.
Nines, who is originally from Harlesden, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of cannabis and possession of the class B drug.
He was also charged with three counts of breaching an existing serious crime prevention order.
Nines’ third studio album, Crabs in a Bucket, peaked at number one in the UK album charts when it was released in 2020.
The rapper, of Fuller Close in Bushey, Hertfordshire, appeared in custody at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on November 17.
He was bailed to appear at Kingston Crown Court on December 15.
