The World Health Organization estimates that one-third of the hospitals in Gaza are non-functional due to the lack of fuel supplies. Israel continues to block fuel entries into the besieged Palestinian enclave. Reporting from Jerusalem, FRANCE 24’s Irris Makler notes that while the WHO and UNRWA has called on Israel to allow fuel supplies into Gaza, Israel maintains there are fuel stocks in Gaza, but they are being used by Hamas, which is denying supplies to civilians.
