‘This will help us build momentum’: Qatar aims for extended Israel-Hamas truce deal

“We are hoping that this will help us build momentum so we can reach a more robust deal regarding a sustainable truce (…) however it’s a long and difficult road ahead”, Majed al-Ansari, spokesperson for the foreign ministry of Qatar, told FRANCE 24 on Saturday as Israel and Hamas prepared to exchange more hostages and prisoners on the second day of a truce deal.
